You were quite right to go on without me there. I had an extra minute or two in study hall and came here to see how things were doing. I just couldn't resist answering the question, but I should have, since today was the first time I've thought of it since then. Ah... silly me. During the Battle of Unnumbered Tears, Turgon recovered the body of his father, Nólemë (Finwë), including his heart, which had been cut out by Orcs. His father's heart became his emblem.
