Well, I think a lotion to rid oneself of unsightly blemishes would be the perfect thing to use to attract oversized female squids across the ocean wide. The advertising representatives said so. I imagine that being perpetually immersed in salt water would be bad for the completion.
Unless, of course, unsightly blemishes are considered attractive in kraken society...
