I don't need anyone or anything to tell me quite how obsessed I am
 , but last week somebody came from the one of the more distant eyries of my office specifically to ask me a question about Elrond. Bearing in mind that the place puts Gormenghast to shame, they must have heard some hair raising tales of my obsession to make the journey.
