May I ask who Carrie Fisher is?
I keep forgetting that many years have passed, and I can no longer drop the name and think everyone will recognize it. She is better known as Princess Leia from the original Star Wars trilogy. Now that should be an icon most everyone remembers! *prays she is not showing her age too much now!*

Cheers!
Lyta

If Star Wars makes you old, Lyta, then I'm ancient!! Well, sort of. Unfortunately, however, I was not alive (yet) when it first came out... But I still say it doesn't make you old!!

Okay, this has to be HI with a friend...

I'm thinking HI is on the right...

When I saw this HI popped up in my head. Don't ask...

White Tree

Some M-E-inspired impressions (Warning: do not take seriously):

Fordim Hedgethistle is an erudite (but rather mad) Baggins. He likes cooking, but not to the same extent as some other Hobbits. Likes gardening. Has trouble deciding whether Longbottom Leaf or Old Toby is better for his constitution.

The Ka is a rather strange pale Hobbit lass who likes to spend a lot of time indoors. Thinks it was very nasty of Mr. Bilbo to kill those poor spiders in Mirkwood. Tends to refer to the Valar as "The Gods".

Elrond's Daughter is a noble and courteous elf-maiden of the folk of Imladris. Singing is one of her special joys.

Saucepan Man is Samwise Gamgee or one of his relatives (he likes walloping people with pans).

Close, but I am one of those spiders...

Here's a picture my friend the Wasp took the other day...

I would have a picture of them,
But, I was hungry and I ate him...

Ironically, the only person I don't see as their avatar is the Barrow Wight. I see him as a rather short, broad man with wild hair and beard. Almost a Tom Bombadil without the costume...I know I'm wrong, but the image lingers.

Oh, and Nilp. I can't help but see him as the little pixellated blonde boy that was his avatar so long ago. "Chip", wasn't it?

Oh that Carrie Fisher! *Looks at reflection in the computer screen closely* I guess I kinda do look like her. Minus the flowing robes and interesting hairdos. Don't fret, I know plenty of younger people wholove the Star Wars Trilogy. Me thinks I need to watch it sometime. (For I have only seen the newer ones.)
