Gosh, Dûrbelethwen , the way you describe that reminds me alot more of Star Wars than of Tolkien, with the twins and all. Also, there's not much sentimentality in Numenor or The Silm, but that is one of the Disney movies' specialties. So, I kinda think, no. Oh, and, just as a point of interest, the Disney movie is spelt Bambi.

Rumil, I think you have forgotten an item crucial to your exposition. Galadriel's mirror and that upon the wall of Snow White's cruel step-mother. How very interesting that Snow White's step-mother does not see through the glass darkly, but it would appear that Galadriel, Sam, and Frodo do!
