I'd like to comment something, though, on all of these 'straight line' questions. I'll use an example to explain:

Say my place is Bag-end and someone asks: "If you draw a straight east-west line through Hobbiton, is it south of that line?" I would say "No," because Bag-end is in Hobbiton and Hobbiton is not south of Hobbiton. Just because a place is "Not west" of someplace does not mean it is automatically east of it.

Just thought I'd clear that up.
