this is really REALLY confusing...so, sorry to ruin it all, but are u supposed to guess a letter, or the other person tells you clues/? oh well =__= ...

Maybe read the first post?

Basically we say a question describing a person/place/event/thing and the Questioner has to guess which thing we are getting at, if not, he/she gives another letter and we continue guessing

Oh my. I have got this all wrong! I have always thought that Glaurung starts with 'Gl' not 'Gr' but apparentely it doesn't.
