Today is a dark day, my friends. Today we mourn for the loss of one who was a hero and a captain to all the Fair Folk.

I will not say do not weep, for not all tears are an evil. Yet mighty was the lord, meet was his passing. He waits across the sea. And he knows we shall rise and avenge him.

For Celeborn, Lord of the Galadrim, went not idly. Around him as he leant upon his notched blade lay the bodies of dozens of foes; great Lords of Men; Wizards of mickle power and craft; enigmas and halflings. And even the great Orc that undid him fell to his riposte.

Aye, Celeborn made his mark and defended his honour; no little leech he; no vanity-puffed Silvertop. Brave were his blows and sagacious his counsel. He leaves behind him an alliance of united friends; his foes are bitter and divided, squabbling over petty kingships.
