ooo I get it now! When I said Tharbad was the only place that wasn't in Eriador, I meant to say Dol Guldor!
Let me look at my map...and.... Dol Guldor - the only place not on a river?

not on a river? true, but not what I had i mind...
As a further hint: Take a map -> put a piece of transparent paper on top -> Make a dot at each of the five locations - > put the map away - look at the dots

You can more or less draw a straight east/west line through the other 4, but Imladris sticks out - you're up.
