To put to rest my Christmassy one-liner...

I don't know, it has always been a favourite hymn line of mine. However, Christmas is past and although advent is still going, I shall put away Christmassy things from my signature at least. I yield it to a few lines from W.H. Auden, whose words were set to music in the lovely 'Hymn To St. Cecilia'. I can't help thinking of the music as I read the words...
