Sounds interesting. I assume that it will be just like regular Werewolf, but with the roles reversed (ie Heroes know who each other are, kill a Wolf each night and Wolves have to try to find and kill them). Do the Heroes make their kills during the day, with Wolvish discussions taking place at night? Quote:
I shall be the Big Bad Wolf, full of huff and puff.

Anguirel, old boy, I would consider it an honour to play in thy game of Werewolf.

Anguirel, that is a great idea! There are fairytale stories out where the roles are reversed, such as "Goldilockas and the Three Bears"- the three bears are the victims and Goldilocks is the vicious thief. How is your game going to work? Will there be lots of wolves and a couple of villagers that do the killing at night? Anyway, sounds like fun. I won't have the honor of being part of your village, but look forward to your storyline.

Wow Anguirel this sounds great, wonderful idea. I would like to dip my hands in this situation, and this shall be my last game for a while as after Christmas the Fireworks season starts.

Well, I guess my earlier post was missed... none the less, sign me up! This game is a great idea Anguirel. Especially just getting off of 'The Game of Three Cobblers', this should be very confusing and delightful. As for a name... Saucepan's already got the cream of the crop, so mine shall be Gil-Gurth, which (very roughly translated) means 'Star of Death'. Even if that isn't exactly right, which there is a good chance it's not, I'll keep it like it is because it sounds more like my name. I look forward to the start of the game. Now, to find some new 'plan'. Or not... my plans tend to get me lynched.

Sounds fantastic! Although I must admit at first I had to wonder why Huan would be the cobbler but then I thought in reverse and it made sense. I would love to play a beta-male though I'm not sure beta-males would be as vocal as I am. I've tried to play quiet before and it just doesn't work for me...I guess I'll be an aged and battle wisened wolf dispensing my opinions and advise on anyone that will listen or even pretend to listen. When do you anticipate sending roles out?

One thing is for sure. The long and comprehensive notes are out of the window. They don't make a blind bit of difference. However detailed, however much they cross-reference votes, accusations and defences, however much I try to draw together connections or noteworthy incidents, they would seem to provide me with no assistance whatsoever in finding a wolf.

Ooohh ooh oooh oooo I've been waiting for a game like this...would this game start on Sunday, perchance? And would the wolves be able to communicate secretly (aka PM's) also? Though that would probably cut down on public discussions. If it does start on Sunday, please sign me up. Hopefully my free time won't be too dodgy. I shall be - a bloody-minded young whelp.

Great, my first WW game and I'm already a werewolf for sure! what? you are saying that we will all be werewolves? that now the role of the werewolves will be taken by the villagers? you tricksy barrow downers' trying to get me all confused already!! On a sidenote, I think I may be a werewolf in denial, who pretends that he is just a very hairy man who befriends werewolves at night.... it will be interesting but it is likely to get me killed, so I might just change that. |

That girl is going to play Morgoth to my Túrin—verily, it is again my turn to fear the malice of Cailín. I will be a Black Warg from the now bitter land of Rhûn. Spiteful, treacherous and callous. Impressionable young wolves look up to me as an inspiration. Looking forward to the game Ang.

Rest assured, The Warg and Warg Rider Appreciation Thread will be treated as canon in this game. 'Mere Warg' you say, Master Mormegil? I think I know what we'll be arguing about on Day One.

I would like to sign up, however, I'm going to be leaving on Christmas Day and will be gone for a few days then. If that's all right and I'm in the game, I'd like to be the Lone Wolf, kind of the odd one out who feels free to voice his opinions and doesn't care what the others think.

I would like to join this game(Mormagil talked me into it.). Since the innocents are now werewolf's and I don't believe werewolf's work a whole lot I guess I will be a werewolf that enjoys eating dead flesh over live flesh. This unhealthy and disgusting habit has made him somewhat of a freak and even an outcast to the other werewolf's.

Hmm, I have a slight concern that, with so many players and a two day break for Christmas, this game is going to run well over 2 weeks. Which will cause me problems if I am still alive near the end. Apparently it can take up to 10 days for AoL to reconnect someone to Broadband when they move so I will basically be out of action from 6 to 8 January, although I will have restricted access thereafter (from work). Ang, do you anticipate that causing any problems? In any event, the earlier we start, the better for me. Quote:

I found out that I'll be gone December 25-28, getting back the 29th. So if the game is going to go that long, I don't think I'll be able to play.

My next role I was planning to be an exorcist specializing in werewolves., but in a werewolf village this would be rather...frowned upon. So, I guess I'll be an exorcist specializing in heroes.

morm, you're a hero. (Not casting any aspersions!) I was wondering how I was going to memorise everyone... Saucepan Man-Big Bad Wolf Mormegil-Crabby Old Wolf Gurthang-Gil-Gurth Rune-Wolf-in-Shepherd's-Clothing Formendacil-Lobo Farael-Werewolf In Denial Lhuna-Girl-Who-Cried-Wolf Eomer-Black Warg of Rhun Boromir-Exorcist Specialising in Heroes Spawn-Wolf O' Nine Tails Kitanna-Beta Wolf Oddwen-Bloodthirsty Whelp Kath-Runt of the Litter Mithalwen??? (I hope so ) (Me too...)-Alpha Female Meneltarmacil-Lone Wolf Wayne-Fairy Hunter Nonnacedak-Scavenger Glirdan-Butcher Holby can't play, sadly. Actually, I'm going to settle for 17 players and end it here, because 17 is a pleasantly bizarre number...do think of roles, those of you who haven't yet. And Mith, please confirm that you can play. Naturally it's compulsory that you say yes... When all that's sorted, I'll send out secret roles. Oh, and how to people feel about Nights (ie Days) starting and ending at 2:00pm GMT/7:00pm EST? We'll start as soon as possible-indeed, I'd like to post the thread tomorrow afternoon, ideally!

I must say, I had no clue what a siko fairy hunter was. I imagined it must be an esoteric offshoot of Oriental myth. So I googled it. I now suspect you meant psycho... I now only need Glirdan, Spawn, Kath and Kitanna's roles before I send out the secret personae...

Ang, I thought he was a "sicko fairy hunter". (as in, ugh, you're a real sicko) So, I then wondered, was he a sicko hunter or was he hunting sicko fairies? And then I started imagining what sicko fairies might be like... It's these little things that help the winter afternoons just fly by....
