I appreciate the compliment, Elu old chap.

By the way, put two pluses and bold your vote like so, ++VOTE FOR DAIN, so Glirdan can see it a bit more easily. We wouldn't want such an astute choice to go uncounted...

There is a difference between enjoying the experience oneself and having to watch some insufferable Elvish buffoon enjoying it every night on the telly.

It actually doesn't bother me one bit. I am quite happy to keep voting for Galion day after day, as it saves me the bother of having to think of someone else to vote for. So by all means, feel free to keep voting off these characters that I couldn't care less about in order to maintain the drunken butler's presence.

The problem being when we come to the characters you do care about. I long for the day when I shall roast hairy feet, manic cackle, manic cackle...

morm has just effectively said:

1. "Anguirel hates Dwarves! He's a racist!"

2. "Oh look! There are some Dwarves Anguirel doesn't hate!"

I don't really know what he means to achieve by that. He's not making any sense. He must be tired, poor chap. Somebody give him a bottle of Dorwinion...

What it means is that you are a dwarf hater, undoubtedly, however there are two dwarves who, oddly, you like. If you are so intent on thinning the dwarf populous why not go for those two? Also I wanted to point out to those 'enemies' you have made who they can go for to exact revenge

Surely I don't have to answer that.

Because I like them, obviously!

An amusing Dwarf like Bombur or Kili, or a genuinely cool one like Thrain or Thror, is free to frolic in my book, but a cousin-culling caterpillar like Dain deserves everything he gets...

Whatever. Im backing Ang on the 'Dwarf genocide,' as some extremists may put it. Havnt you seen the Dwarf clan totally turn the Island into a factory? But this always happens in ME. Dwarves have been on a path of ecological devestation, such as the East Bight, might i add, was not from the men of Rhovainion, and perhaps, the merciless hunting and capturing of endangered species, such as cold-drakes? Dwarves are like Sauruman, they have a mind of wheels and metal, and they are only turning our loved Middle-Earth into a incinerator for lumber.
Not to be a hippie, but down with the tree killers!!!!

i think in time the once thought great leaders of dwarves will realize their evil capitalist empire is falling, and will either surrendur themselves off the island, or go down in the flames of their own forge.

Being a great afficionado of The Hobbit, I care for just about all of the remaining characters (and a fair few who have gone already). So, while there's not much I can do to save all of them, it does mean that my chances of backing the winner are pretty good. Heck, I wouldn't even object if the drunken butler won.

By the way, if anyone is thinking of trying to annoy Anguirel, I would not be averse to voting off Thror and/or Thrain.

Anguirel seems to be quite the dwarf hater. His racist motives cannot be hidden! While I am no fan of Dain he has pushed his anti-dwarf campaign just about far enough. Now I ask him why not go for other dwarves such as Thror or Thrain?

I will continue my assault, though futile it may be.
