Another reputation-feeling: I've been away from the Downs for over a week and have found a lot of good new posts and I've wanted to positive-rep TGWBS three times. That's quite a lot.

I'm not going to discuss this for long, because we've all been through this before but I, as Farael, got an unsigned, uncommented neg rep recently and would like the one who wrote it to step forward and tell me why. It was a post in Middle Earth "afterlife", my first in that thread. Maybe not the best of posts I agree, but worthy of a neg rep? Apparently.

I don't keep to close watch over my points, so I don't know how much it was and it doesn't matter, but I'd like to know what it is I'm supposed to improve to satisfy the "repper" (Is that a rep-artist?). I don't think the person will pm me, but I would be VERY pleased if YOU could do it

The rep-system with both positive and negative reps is excellent to give feedback and both tell someone what's good and also teach people what's not considered a good post here on the downs. But if it's going to work, the comments are essential. Especially when it comes to negative reps...

Well, a week off actually does some harm to ones brain. The whole week while I was out of my Barrow and wandering in the "Real World", I found myself thinking "What has become of my rep points this entire time? Have they gone down?". All I have to say is thank Eru for telling me (subconciously) to come back on and when I came back, I found my rep points totally intact and exactly how I left them. I can tell you, that [ut my mind at ease.
