I dunno, TORE, I thought Saruman was a pretty good fit.

Sure, you may look like a companionable sort – what with your love of creature comforts and apparently winning ways – but when it gets right down to it you are only ever looking out for number one. You don’t have any friends because nobody is good enough or smart enough to deserve your friendship.

For me, the operative phrase in the Sauron description was you prefer whimpering slaves.
