That I would second whole heartedly - as you might expect!

If the deadline is 2pm GMT I will have to vote extremely early most days. As in about midnight the day before. The 4am GMT deadline would work a lot better for me I think as I can vote much closer to the deadline.
But if it's easier for you Diamond I'm ok with 8am.

One good reason not to have retractable votes, methinks.
(I'm leaning toward non-retractable. Much as a I appreciated them in Mith's game, I think non will be more mod friendly.)A good death scene would probably take me 40 minutes to write. I type like the wind. So assuming my brain is working....

Definitely 8AM, if one can have a vote for it. (10PM would be here in Finland something like 6AM: so if I would like to catch up with the writing of this bunch, I would have to wake up at 4AM the latest - and then stay awake the whole day.) Well. If the game is good, one might think about it...
Retractable votes have their pro's and con's. They can be misused, surely, but they also make it possible for everyone to vote with thought in the end. F.ex. in Farael's game right now, there have been occasions, where someone has had to vote early, because s/he has not been sure, whether s/he's able to come back - and not voting is bad sport anyhow. Then it's nasty to hang around the game at the last minutes (as it has turned out possible to be there) and see, how differently - with additional information - one would have voted.

Oh and I'm not a fan of retractable votes. I'm a P not a J, but not that heavily P that I can deal with such fluidity...(for further explanation see my enneagrams thread...)

Well I am generally a fan of retractable votes but since I am going to have to vote early and certainly won't be able to pop back, it doesn't make any odds to me in this game.

Well I would totally vote for the 10pm time. I am NOT a morning person and 8 in the morning is awfully early for me to get up and have a coherent vote/reasoning. But if the majority rules, that's ok I guess.....
Perhaps we should have retractable votes for the people who might be able to sneak on before the deadline.

Maybe just plain: 1 chance to change the vote?
