Alas, I too am guilty.
Panakeia of Harad driving around Mordor in a yellow PT Cruiser and stealing Bill Shatner's toupee at a Star Trek convention isn't exactly canon. The Hobrog, however, fits into Middle-earth beautifully.  Or maybe not...
