"Fries my bacon" Bill Ferny? Hahahahaha I am going to have to save that and use it somewhere.

Like most of you, I get real tired of hearing how fantasy is unhealthy, how its satanic, how I need to live in the real world, I could go on for pages. The thing is, I have seen enough of the 'real' world to know that I don't like it and its scary. Especially for a little hobbit like me. (ok I feel more elvish some days but that's another story.) Yes,Schmen, a new demension.
Number Ten has it right, everyone has their own fantasies, but ours have elves! I'd rather think about noble elves, cute hobbits, sarcastic, slightly greedy dwarves, and humans who have their hearts in the right place even though their doing the wrong thing, than supermodels. A wierd way to say that but I think you all get my point.

I am the first to admit being a bookworm to the worst extreme, and it really bugs me when I get wierd looks when I go shopping and bypass all the clothes jewellry and whatnot for the books.

Oh Elenna you are so right about romance novels vs. fantasy. The 'real' perverted world is ok, but pristine Middle-earth with all the bad boys getting their comeuppence is bad Yeah right!

Speaking of Mideveal, Luin, that sounds like me. If I'm not reading fantasy I'm reading historical fiction, or mideval history. My friend lent me some books once about 'modern' teenagers and boy oh boy, there was so much relationships and hormones going around in that book I wondered why it wasn't dripping with stickiness. It'll turn your mind to mush much sooner that Tolkien will, that's for sure!

Everyone just stand up and embreace your passion with arms wide open!

not really - a lot of the people who get mad at me don't have vocabularies that big).
Elenna, I know what you mean. Whenever I talk to people I'm afraid to speak the way I normally spak because I'm not sure their vocabulary is big enough.
