 Well today a year ago I joined the Downs, a big thing for me that is for sure.

I risk to sound trite, but besides being hackneyed, what follows is still the truth
 , for I really don’t know half of you half as well as I should like; and indeed I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve, and has been in this situation for six years now, though, unlike the one who said it first, am not going to Rivendell yet...My posting have been more or lass slack of late but I enjoy rare posting and little less rare reading as much as six years ago. Hope to be here (both for myself and for 'here') for next six years and more cheers

Oh look, today is my 4th Deathday. I actually put this on my 'Downs calendar, which is a good thing otherwise I would have totally forgotten. I must now go celebrate by seeing if there's anything in the pantry worth celebrating with. If not I must at least make a point to eat mushrooms before the day is over.
