Our/ ships/ go/ now/ without/ the/ wind,
and/ many/ are/ made/ of/ metal/ that/ sheareth/ hidden/ rocks,
and/ they/ sink/ not/ in/ gale/ or/ storm;
but/ they/ are/ no/ longer/ fair/ to/ look/ upon.

"sheareth" was the word I couldn't find, and "rocks" only very late (I first assumed it was about hidden hollows in the ship's material so it wouldn't sink

)
But I still don't know which word I guessed wrongly, probably "gale", for that is just an assumption... ?

W for "wave" perhaps?
