Having watched Dustin Hoffman promoting his latest film ..I really would love to see him play Thorin, and Simon Russell Beale to do Bombur instead ....

Is it just me, or does Liev Schreiber look a lot like Ian Holm did when he was young?
There's definitely at least some resemblence there. I think it'd be interesting to see Liev in the Hobbit as the role of a younger Bilbo. And he's a great actor- I always enjoy watching him on screen.

For someone who claims to be depressed about the potential movie...
...I certainly seem to be spending a lot of time down here recently.
