What did Shelob Eat?....

..... On books and movies what did Shelob eat in her web when she didn't get Frodo or Sam?

I kind of figured she'd a lot of Orcs...seeing as how she lived in the pass of Cirith Ungol. Also...if you believe Gollum, Orcs don't taste very good either.

Shelob, if I remember correctly, ate a lot of prisoners Sauron didn't want anymore, and pretty much anything else she could find, mostly orcs.

I can't remember if the film mentioned what Shelob usually ate.

I think it is mentioned that Shelob eats orcs in the films, I think Gollum says something to the effect of “She only gets nasty orcses to eat, and that doesn’t taste so nice do they precious.” I don’t remember the exact quote though.

Also in the movies I think the orc mentions she likes 'fresh blood'. Would have to check though.
