What would you name your sword - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

I would name my sword after the elvish-name of my long-suffering character in the Return of the Entish Bow RP series, Andotiruves, which in English means "The Gatekeeper". The elvish sounds so much more impressive and mysterious.

EDIT: For those who want to come up with a real elvish name instead of depending on the name-generator, there is a pretty good English-to-Elvish Dictionary here. Ram a couple of good words together and see what you can come up with.

I thought of another name, along the lines of the original Slice-And-Dice:
The Ronco Orc-O-Matic!!
It slices, it dices, it even makes little julienne Orc-fries!

I've often toyed with naming my sword after the one that belongs to Geirmund Thunder in Laxdæla Saga. Fótbítr, 'Leg-biter': says it all really. If I were feeling self-referential I'd call it Wylkynsion, but as it is it has no name.

I have a Shinai (sp?) Her name is....um...

Alchil or Alchilien which is what the name generator gave me for "Ice Queen"
