Ok so it's been a week now, I have been hoping to get this thing going.....Can I get some dates as to when people will be available to post.

should we just sort of wait till after the holidays or what? How is everyone's schedule?

I'm kind of busy. My brother, his wife, and baby are visiting, so we are very happily busy. (My nephew is the cutest baby ever, no question.) They are leaving 3 days after Christmas. I might be able to post while they are here, but will have more time afterwards.

If a particular plot point isn't happening, there are some choices. (1) Do an alternative plot point instead. (2) The rpg host (Valier) or someone she assigns writes a telling post that relates the action without all the inner and outer dialogue in order to get the group by the hurdle. (3) Hold off until writers are less busy.

The reason (2) might be worthwhile, is because we have some writers waiting verrrry patiently in the wings, namely Gwathagor, Legate & Sephiroth, and if they can help carry this rpg, it's not in our interests to make them wait too much longer.

I agree with LMP. Boromir or Finduilas are needed to get the PM post started, since both seem to be busy we can do as LMP says and go with either option.

I hate to have people waiting still to post, I feel bad as a game owner to let the story go stale when we have yet to begin. I can if it is wanted put a post together having us carry forward and if others want to help such as Kitanna, Lommy aor LMP,(whoever has time soon) I or we can continue in some fashion to get us progressing.

If everyone can please get a vote in for what we should do quickly, we can get this resolved with some speed.

I am terribly sorry, not busy per se, but to top off my not so good week I got hit with a winter blast, it knocked out the power and I've been trying to shovel my driveway out so I can get to work tomorrow. But I have sent the PM post to Valier...finally.

Edit:

Guess I should say that I was pretty sure Peony, Mira, and Rudy were all cousins...right? And the trio is not related to Bunny or Tansy, but I assumed Mira knew Tansy since she wanted to go see her. Sorry if I got confused with who's related to who, and how everyone's connected. If any bit of it's wrong you know what to do.

I vote for a "telling" post. I assume that the PM post can be inserted wherever appropriate. Next question would be, if there is agreement, "what happens next?"

Boro, you have it right that the three are cousins, all grandkids of Gaffer Hugo. And Tansy and Bunny are friends, not relation. At least not close relation. Although Hobbits being Hobbits, they may be fifth cousins twice or thrice removed, for all we know.

I can help in putting together something that moves this forward, that way those who haven't had the chance to post much can get something in.

I'm pretty free this week and next week and well into January I will be doing nothing with my time until classes start again. So, for a few weeks I can help push things forward if need be.

Ok I've got Boro's post.I will have it done by tomorrow. I am going to pull Peony and Tansy aside and chat a bit with them about the trip, then I will end it with Bunny and Tansy heading back to Tansy's to get ready (Bunny wants to leave early the next morning) I think then I can just post the post with just Boro and My posts. Unless Lommy you want me to send it to you while we are chatting and you can have us head back to your house. Whichever is fine by me.

Finduilas if you could start a pm post with Kitanna having you approach her after Tansy and Bunny leave about the trip, you can even send it to Boro and/or LMP and they can add the bits to bring you all into an agreement of leaving together the next morning.Then someone can post that. once we get all that done we can get Gwathagor into it as Bunny and Tansy get to Tansy's, and I/ we can bring us to the next day and have us all meet somewhere.

Can everyone do this?
