Sting Hurt and Heal VI: Weapons and Other Oddities
RULES

From 20 to 7 - each player has 3 votes: 2 hurts and 1 heal. Double hurts are allowed.

From 6 to 4 - each player has 3 votes: 2 hurts and 1 heal. Double hurts are not allowed: a player has to hurt 2 different characters and heal one, or he may use only 1 hurt and 1 heal.

When but 3 characters are left each player has either a hurt or a heal.

Wait for at least four posters to vote prior to you voting again.

So it's weapons now. What do you think - shall we include also armour? It might be necessary in case we want a list of 20.

You meant to say "soo preciouss..."

But well, it all seems to come down now whether this will be a round for "weapons" or for "weapons and other oddities"? If it's the latter, we need to come up with a substantial number of other candidates than weapons.

Although I think that the One Ring being there would not be fair to other candidates...

It's true.

Maybe this one should be weapons and armour, and later we could have another one such as powerful objects, e.g. Silmarils, rings, etc.

I don't see a reason to limit the number of seconds, Lalaith. I trust people can control themselves enough not to misuse the voting power they've been given.

Given the number of weapons we have thus far, I think we could do with just weapons & armour on this round. Therefore I'm excluding stuff like the Girdle of Melian, Bombadil's boots (which, in my opinion, are rather other items than armour), the rings etc from the list. However if you think some of them should be included, speak up.

As for Tuor's dragon suggestions, I rather didn't take them because they are very different weapons from the rest. If there is considerable opposition to this, though, I may consider otherwise.

I second Belthronding & the Morgul blades and nominate Ringil & Angrist.

Oh by the way - do we want Anglachel, Gurthang or both?

I added Dramborleg (Tuor's axe) and the Mithril shirt and changed Anglachel to Gurthang because the sword is probably better-known as the latter.

I was unaware you needed help. It is much easier to discern a person's wishes if he simply state them as I did. I suggest you learn the tactic . Now please, do not take my oversight out on the dragon helm. Think of all that it did and the terror it wrought upon it's enemies. None, save the one ring, brought more dread to their enemy than the dragon helm.
