For once, sparcely inhabited towns. Since mine was the only school in my district to try the Poetry Out Loud competition, I get to skip regionals and go straight to state!

There's incredible lots of it here, on the roadsides you can find piles taller than me and all the tree branches are white all over. It's so beautiful!

And besides, they say you can go walk on the sea now, the ice is solid enough. Gotta try that as soon as I finish my first BD check in two weeks!

As I was saying to Nienna last night - it was either her or Boro... then again, maybe it was my brother or cousin? - if you aren't bleeding, none of your bones are broken, you're not running a dangerous fever, you can breathe, you're not in labor, and none of your organs are failing, then you can suck it up and wait a few hours.

Theoretically speaking, yes. For me, no. I am moving to the Lower 48 (or the UK!) as soon as I can. But really it's the darkness that hurts you the most, it gets inside your soul and eats you. Not fun.

But yeah. It's only five thirty and already it's been pitch black for an hour. It gets so depressing, and winter's not even half over yet.

I assign 409. It smells awful in large quantities, but it shortened the time spent on scraping the carmalized apple chunks off of a random guy's fridge shelf from days to hours. Plus, it doesn't react horrible with Comet, which ended up being a Good Thing.
