Friendlies wrapped up today, leaving fans to hope or fret based upon the results of the four warm-up matches. Tirion picked up win number three after falling behind Norbury, Wold continued their defensive dominance 1-0, and Valimar finished with four wins after edging Nargothrond. The highly anticipated Utumno-Thangorodrim match was surprisingly tame. There may be some bad blood there, but apparently not to the point that the teams were willing to risk injury or fatigue going into the tournament. For the most part there did seem to be more coasting in general in this final set of matches, so far as physicality and intensity goes. To prove it, Misty Mts actually restrained themselves to only four yellow cards.
