Elf-Chick,

Life's not supposed to suck, but sometimes it just does, adn we wonder why. I've been in a similar place as what you describe.

One thing that helped me a lot was learning that *other* people firmly believed that God loved me and had plans for me.

And I think God has hopes and plans for you. I also think He loves you, and would like to show you how He loves you and why.

I've been praying for you.

Talking with a pastor or priest can be a big help. And so can reading a good book. Barrow-Wight's idea is good, try The Hobbit. It's perky.

Keep us posted how you are doing, okay?
