Manwe is surprisingly acerbic though that may be a stylistic thing. elronds_daughter - I'd be more comfortable calling her Celebrian, but then again maybe Elrond (as yet unborn) had another sprog - makes a very sensible point about the compromises entailed in our lynching. Basically, within our category of suspects, we should go for the most vocal one.
