Fourth?

Manwë's such a choker. T_T

Ah, well, despite that, I'm still offering my service as a game writer for next year (depends on how busy I'll be then, of course.)

I'm a bit out of it (the ending of Angel Beats is pretty potent stuff), so my post-tourney ArdaCup Stats Report will have to come much later.

Eye Points!!!

Ara, phantom-kun. I should have the same pre-tourney prediction pts as Gwath (I did check that before the last round), and you didn't put in my pts for phantasy FW.

(I'm still in fourth, though. Albeit with a one-point gap between me and cousin Eomer.)

I had Varda on my team, lad, not Vana.

Do I get points for predicting my final ranking?

Ah, well, someone had to be last. I wonder if it would have made a difference if I'd have figured out earlier I could use players already selected by other Downers.

Congrats to Gwath, and thanks to all who worked so hard and made this so much fun. I fully intend to get in on it again next year.

If anyone needs proof the writers have no idea what they're talking about and know no more than anyone else, just look at the last to rounds. Really.

Congrats Gwath on being the 1st to 2 wins.

And thanks tp and all participants for making this competition what it is, loads of fun sparring.

We'll soon be working on next year, hope everyone is back again!

Hehe, oops that would have been helpful to know. We've toyed with the idea of being like a normal fantasy competition with a draft, and only 1 person having that player. But organizing such a task would be insane and probably beyond the time of tp.

And that's the idea behind the stars to add some diversity to everyone's team and the star-limit so you can't just pile on all the best at every position. Occassionally though, with the monster performances some players have you see a bandwagoning for certain players like Miriel in 2009, who was just ridiculous scoring, and Turin this year.

I mean sometimes you really have no choice because if someone is performing like Turin or Miriel, in '09, it's more costly to not have them on your team. It makes for interesting dynamics, I had a lot of fun with the massive Miriel band-wagon a few years ago.

Ah, I see, Nilp. I still had you down for your original FW prediction. And I changed Vana to Varda, Sally.

Nice to hear you're itching to be a writer, Nilp! It would be most helpful to have you on board- tough schedules and all. Great thanks to Nog and Boro for all their help despite their schedules- match reports, stats/predictions, and general tournament discussion behind the scenes.

And we'll have to give some thought to Morm's idea of having handicaps.
