According to this, Alfrid is "The Master of Laketown's 'conniving' servant".
So, it wasn't enough to invent one character, eh Mr. Jackson?

They should have just named the character Anni-Frid, and had her be a female member of a traveling minstrel troupe. Now that's script engineering.

About this Alfrid, I see more PJ and friends mucking with TH:
