Actually, I'm afraid there was talk of killing you. By Night Four we'd guessed you and Shasta as a possible Cobbler and Ranger, but we weren't sure which was which, and Kit was worried about G55 being protected– as indeed she was. So you were both under consideration for a while.

I know. But Boro told me to be annoying.
![]() This was a good game and it was interesting to follow it even after I died. I was so sure Nog was a wolf all along... but from now on I just won't pay any attention to him because he drives me insane. ![]() Congrats, wolves! Even if the game could have ended both ways, you played exceedingly well, and personally I doubt we would've got you if this village hadn't been so successful at killing the ordos. Thanks for modding Boro, and good game everyone! It's been too long since I last played.

Well since everyone knew everybody's role days ago, maybe everyone knows the gifteds choices too?
![]() ![]() G55's dreams: Night 1 - Nerwen Night 2 - Pitch Night 3 - Shasta Night 4 - Greenie Night 5 - Kitanna Shasta's protections: Night 2 - Nerwen (believed the wolves would go after a quiet trailless kill, but a possibly troublesome villager. His reasoning was spot on, since wolves went for Kath, but...well except the fact that Nerwen was one of them) Night 3 - Greenie, seemingly in frustration at what the wolves would do for their kill this night, winds up protecting the cobbler now. Interesting start for the Ranger. Night 4 - The big one that basically changed the game around. Shasta reasoned out that he wouldn't want to protect sally, believing her reveal. And if he was right about G55's reasons for voting Nerwen, it would make G55 the seer and Nerwen therefor a wolf. Gave the village that one extra day to work things out. Night 5 - out of being unable to protect G55 again, nor himself. Chose Nogrod. sally's hunts: Night 2 - Pitch Night 3 - Shasta Night 4 - G55 (First she wanted to hunt Nerwen, but second-guessed and doubted herself to the point of switching to G55. Oh sally.) Night 5 - Kitanna This was the strangest ending to a game I can ever remember. I was conflicted, since the pack was playing so well at staying unsuspicious, and getting lynches. Yet, not getting any gifteds at all. So in the Night 4 turning point, where Shasta caught on, it gave the village that one extra day for all the information to come out and completely flip things against the pack. However, with the cobbler still, it would have to go perfectly for the village, to the point of getting that final vote every night. I didn't know how to end it without letting the staring contest and voting arms race to continue to play out. Or to end it without one side feeling shafted. It just played out so strangely with the mass slaying of ordos day and night. Ah well, hope it was enjoyed by all, and the image of Lottie bolting back to a computer after a date to take that last vote and win it for the wolves, makes up for the conflictions of "how can this end in a way that's not bad and dragging!?" from the last couple days. ![]() Oh, and Bom, sometimes if you click the scale, it doesn't open up on my computer. But if you right click and choose "open window" the reputation page should open. I was laughing at some of the earlier cobbler discussions because my PM to Bom went something like..."I would be full of insane glee at making the town cobbler, the actual cobbler but it would be far too silly." And to Greenie "Well since you expressed so much desire to keep the cobbler around, congrats, you are now the Mayor." And without even realizing it until sally pointed it out after I sent the roles...ironically her occupation as poet and musician, is well...a bard...Bard the bard bowman

![]() But like some have mentioned already, let's not repeat this ending any time soon. It was just... well random. And actually, when I suggested we'd call it a draw two Days ago I was half-serious as it could be then seen already that it would be only about who's getting the latest vote in for a few Days (or would someone fail to vote)... But I do understand you Boro not calling it off back there. I would hate to end my own game prematurely as well. But yes, the wolves were pretty good this time around and my reaction to those revelations by Sally, Shasta & Galadriel - that my top suspects go on "mass revealing" - is quite telling on how totally blind I was this time around... (yeah, not my proudest moment in my ww-history). So kudos to the wolves (I was after Lottie for a moment but sadly gave in under pressure by so many others - especially Greenie the cobbler who really did her job well there): a game well played. But also kudos to our gifteds. It's a rare occasion you manage to build such trust in a game, rely on it and succeed (oftentimes some trust-relationship seems to develop the other part to the relation later turns out a baddie). So way to go G55, Shasta and loverSally! Btw. it was quite a nasty feeling when I realised that I was the only ordinary innocent around and that thus everything depended on me making the right choice as all the others knew the situation (Greenie knew her allies as G55's dream was either true or false)... So if you wondered why it took me some time to finally believe you guys, try to relate to that angst that "what if I get it wrong". ![]() Thanks for a nice game Boro - and all those who played and made it thus. PS. Agan: I know we ought to stop this. It's getting quite weird when if I see you defending me against multiple others with perfectly sensible (and oft times correct) reasons, my mind goes immediately to "she must be a wolf trying to play tricks on me: no way my lady!" ![]()

Sally, you actually did hunt me?! I thought you were bluffing!
![]() It's funny how my dreams and sally's "huntees" and the same in 3 cases...Shasta has already proven himself the most original gifted in like his first post or something. ![]() [Edit: yes] Quote:
To summarise, this has been the weirdest game in a while, both in terms of the end and in how it was played...

![]() That, in fact, is why I made such a big deal of saying who I'd hunted, because I wanted to make sure the wolves didn't kill me, at least that Day. Of course the last Day I was hunting the nasssssssssssssty Kit creature. <3

Well, that was... disappointing. But even Gods strive in vain against the Downs' clock.
![]() Anyway, applause to you wolves - all three of you, but especially to Lottie; that's dedication! Quote:
Nerwen, you posted so little during my lifetime that I had no idea at all about you, but you looked innocent enough on D3 to my lurking ghost (although I must say I didn't believe your counter reveal on D4 for a minute, after what had gone before). Kit, I don't know what it was - usually your wolf-self manages to look quite innocent to me, but this time I felt from the start that there was something foul about you; maybe I'm finally developping a wolf radar after all these games, or maybe I was just lucky. Lottie, I had some early doubts about you, but Nog's argument against you looked so contrived I decided you were probably innocent. ![]() By the way, you did the village a favour by killing me: if I'd lived, my prime suspects on D3 would have been Nog and Shasta... Greeniemuna, you were one evil papa-fish of a cobbler! Once more you fooled me utterly (until your Bom vote, which reeked of evil, but I was dead by then). Good job! Gifteds, you have no idea how much I cheered for you on the last two Days! You all managed to stay hidden while one ordo after the other bit the dust, and on D4 it was wonderful to watch you all come out together and build a wall of trust that defied all wolvish machinations. sally, you were such a cool hunter, you would have deserved to get the last vote in! G55, that was some awesome seering first time around! Dreaming a wolf on N1, staying cool and not giving yourself away is quite a feat, as I know from experience (I lost my nerves and came out on D1, but luckily it all worked out.) Shasticle, nice Rangering when it mattered! As mentioned above, I feared some evil collusion between you and Nog after we'd lynched Agan and actually took the pain to analyse you the Night I was killed, but the wolves spared me the disgrace of making a fool of myself. When I saw your reveal, I was like "duh - of course!" It all made perfect sense then. Quote:
I was furious at you when Agan turned out innocent, but you've already explained that, so I don't need to ask what you thought you were doing. Anyway, this time I'm glad I backed off you on D2 and didn't live long enough to think worse of it. In an endgame like this one, it pays off to keep someone around who knows his job. No doctored cigarettes for Christmas. ![]() Agan, that was too short a season, but I'm glad you forgave me for my hand in your death; and sorry I didn't live long enough to avenge you as promised, but I think it was for the better like this. Zil - meh, being busy and distracted shouldn't have got you lynched, but crap happens in Werewolf. Sorry, mate. Kath, pity you got killed so early, hope we'll get to play together again soon. And Bom, I hope we'll see you playing more (both playing more games and playing more)! Crazy game, but I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for modding, Boro!
