Welcome, Mithrandir! You can add what's called a &quot;signature&quot; to your posts by going to your EZBoard preferences, typing one in, and enabling the option. Go to the http://www.barrowdowns.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgimain page of the forum</a>, click on &quot;My Control Center&quot; near the top of the page, then click the &quot;Edit Preferences&quot; button. Scroll down and you'll find a textbox under the section &quot;Custom Signature&quot;. Type one in, then check the &quot;Use Custom Signature&quot; checkbox.

When you're composing a post, look to the left of the textbox and you'll see a link that says &quot;Use Emoticons&quot;. Click that and it will give you the codes on how to make them in your posts.
