Avatar file sizes - Page 2 - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

Lossentilien's avatar has motivated me to remind everyone that avatars should never be more than 5-15 KB in size. Her's is 249KB [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img] That means that every time someone reads a topic she has posted on, they must wait for her giant avatar to load. This can be excrutiating for people with a slow connection. Of course, Lossentilien is not the only one with an oversized avatar, so we would appreciate if everyone would work to make their own avatars as small in file size as possible.
