You're right twice, Gwaihir, the question is not very properly asked <img src=ohwell.gif ALT=":\"> and the answer is correct. Your turn to ask.
P.S. Congratulations also for your great imagination, Gwaihir, it must be difficult to answer non-sense questions, please forgive me.

In Dagor Bragollach (sp?) and during the Battle of the Pellennor Fields, Morgoth and Sauron used weapons of war bearing the same name. What were they and what was the name?

I doubt this to be the correct answer, but I say Grond the hammer that Morgoth weilded and The battering ram that Sauron had trolls use to break down the gate of Minas Tirith. If not that then was it something along the lines of the darkness that was belched forth from Thangoridrim and Orodruin?

I don't think that Grond was used in the Bragollach. Melkor only ever used it once; in single combat with Fingolfin after the Battle.

How many post-scripts did Gandalf add to the letter Frodo received in Bree?

Things are going pretty well here is Scotland, although unfortunately I've been rather busy lately.

I'm only a post away from Wright-dom. Shows how rarely I post!

And welcome to the Downs, Enep!

voronwe, I hope some day I'll get to Scotland, to see that wonderful land with my own eyes.
