Nah, that's Grima to Saruman about the man who traveled with Gandalf.
"A Dunedain ranger I thought he was. His cloth was poor, and yet he bore a strange ring."

Isn't it Gandalf talking to Theoden and others about how men still have the courage to challenge Sauron. I can't remember the exact quote...

I'd say it's Boromir talking to Aragorn. "There is courage still, and honor to found among Men."
(If I guessed right, someone else should take my turn, as I'm going on vacation soon.)

didn't Gandalf also say to aragorn something like "he (Sauron) is afraid. the heir of Elendil has come forth and he has seen that men are not so weak as he thought. there is gourage among them, strenght even..."
I think it was in the EE version of the two towers. ps as you can see I can't spell either

Yes indeed. Paavo has it (bad spellers of the world unite!) . That was Gandalf to Theoden in ROTK. "There is courage still, perhaps strength enough to challange him." Your go.

So was the right answer Gandalf to theoden in ROTK? because if it was then shouldn't Carlas get the next quote? since I said that it was Gandalf to Aragorn.
