Without mortals
Hello,
What do you rekon would have happenened to middle earth, without the inclusion of men? Would the elves have had such a strong desire to leave to the heavans? |

They still would have come, or stayed as the Sindar did(those who never left). The Nolder would still have come, as the theft of the Silmarils, and the murder of Finwe would still have occured. although maybe not as many of them.

Things would have changed greatly. Great were the deeds of the Edain (fathers of men). Beren, with the aid of Luthien Tunievel, took one of the silmarils from Morgoth Bauglir. Turin Turambar slew the great dragon Glaurung, and also brought the downfall of Nargothrond. Hurin (the greatest warrior of men) brought the downfall of Gondolin, but he and his people fought the last man to protect the elves of Gondolin that were withdrawing from the Battle of Unnumbereed tears. The list goes on and on!
