How appropriate to revive this for the New Year!

2006 will bring:

1. Twelve more variations of Werewolf. Barrowdowners against Flaming Fangirls, anyone?

2. Eleven more positive rep boxes, including the appropriate levels, including XX Is A Raving Lunatic, XX Needs To Get Out Of The House More, and XX Is Probably Reading LotR At This Very Moment.

3. Ten more pages in Crazy Captions per week. This is probably an understatement.

4. There will be Nine more engagements in the coming year. There will be debate wether Sauron is holding their rings or not.

5. The Eight new polls of Fordim Hedgethistle will do very well.

6. Seven people will join within an hour of each other on May ninth. They will all be friends of Morm and they'll be there for "Werewolf VL: When Monkeys Shoot At You".

7. Six more people will sign up for the Walk to Rivendell. Only a third of their number will get anywhere near.

8. Five BD'er meetups (besides the engagements) will happen this year. Esty will be present at three.

9. Four new posts in the New Movie Script will be added. Only one is not Meneltarmacil's, and he finally ends the romp with

There will appear a group called "CoBDaGGU" Or "Citizens of the Barrow Downs against Gandalf the Grey Uncloaked". They will stage protests against this abomination. However, they will all get run over by Mount Zoom.

Someone will one day make an animated TV series of the Barrow Downs. It will chronicle the adventures of the Barrow Wight and his moderators as they attempt to rid the Downs of 'Trolls'. It will be cancelled after the pilot.

the guy who be short's numerous names will soon include the guy who be shrunk. Initially, he will be the guy who be shocked with this, but eventually he will learn to just (be) the guy who be snort at it.

After spending a lot of time binging on the famous potion pizzas from a village called Dol-in-Gaurhoth, he will become the guy who be stout. When he tries to get out from his house, he will realize that he's the guy who be stuck.

In a future Werewolf game he will decide to follow the footsteps of Formendacil and Kath and volunteer to be the village gongfarmer, where he will be more popularly known as the guy who be stunk.

Werewolf mods will no longer have to include gender in the list of characters, and no one will ever again be surprised by the photo page or embarrased at a silly mistake.

The next Downer wedding will happen after some person assigns the other person's hometown/city to Mordor. You know who you are.

The Downer wedding after that will happen between some person who rented out her sig to other Downers and some person who can't sign reps perfectly and whose birthday happened to be approaching at the time the said improperly-given rep is given.

I predict that on monday a member will leave the Barrow-Downs for about 3 months, only maybe visiting once in a while, when he can find the time and internet conection.

Well maybe that was more of an announsment. . . Don't we have a thread for that kind of stuff, we should have.

I allso predict that a group wich goes under the name NR will take over the downs within 2 years.

and

Soon every member will speak (and write) at least 2 languages, in turn this means that no one would dream of writting in english unless they want to be the laughing stock of the entire site.

After the "What's your favourite Poll?" Poll, The Moderators create a whole new forum just for polls.

This Year:

I'm thinking of setting up a book on who gets the first post of the next 10,000 in. Odds on Mr Hookbill are evens.
