Yanithë hacked and slashed at the Uruks with all her might. It got her mind off of things. A particularly fierce one sauntered over toward her, not thinking she could harm it. She brutalized the Uruk-hai, and almost felt bad for it when she was done.

Yanithë followed the dwarves and others, but did not join them. She was back where she started. The entire journey, she had not been a part of the group. She had been the loner. She smiled at the irony. She had never been a loner in Rohan. But she smiled at the others, knowing they would never understand her.

But she had come to feel a certain friendship for all of them and, when they parted ways, she would feel a pain.
