Boots Celeborn

Why was Celeborn not the masterful war veteren that i had envisioned prior to the film?

He was camp, fragile looking and spoke like a Michael Jackson lookalike. I was horrified! He was totally undermined; it really irritated me.

Rant over.

Frolijah, for me, was a problem. Movie Celeborn, not so much. I never envisaged him as a "masterful war veteran" and he certainly didn't seem masterful to me during the Lorien scenes in the book where he's being corrected by his better half.

Well, I'll agree the movie Celeborn was lame.

he didnt say much in the film, all I can remember him saying is "tell me, where is Gandalf for I much desire to speak with him?" which sounds like something Yoda would say

Well, he didn't say very much in the books either.
