Crossbreads
Hey all It's me,
I had this silly idea and wanted to share it with you. The title says it all. Crossbreads. What would you get if you cross sertain characters. Give me your most original creation. Drawings are welcom aswell. Here's mine. Legolas and Gimli well it was getting suspicious wassn't it?) A Dwarf sized Elf that is extremely stubborn. It can walk for days and wields axe and bow. It is very elegant in body, but has a big red beard. It doesn't want to sleep in a tree and not in a cave either so it sleeps in a house. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA picture that. Well I hope to hear from you soon. Greetings, Anuion P.S. If anyone has used your favorite characters, don't despair. Just make your own as long as it is not a complete copy. Have fun people. ________ BABY MAC Last edited by Helkahothion; 03-07-2011 at 03:00 AM. |

How about if you crossed White Bread with Rye Bread. That would be crazy. Or Pumpernickel and Wheat! Funny!
I think you mean 'crossbreeds'.

Okay, that right there? That was messed up.
What is all this about upset bread? Lemme see . . . Smaug with Gollum. (After Bilbo steals the thingy) *Smaug leaves mountain in a fiery rage (snicker)* *Can be heard bellowing:* "Gone!!! Gone!! The Precious is gone!!! We wants it!! Theif!! Thief!!! We wants the Precious!!!" Well, I think it's funny. I would.

I'd love to see an Elrond-Gollum cross. Imagine the great lord of Rivendell slinking around with an evil shine in his eye.
"Welcome to Rivendell, my preciousss" "We heals it. We heals the nassty Baginsss." (I like yours Barrow-wight)

An Uruk hai with a troll, with all the pros of the two species. Ultimate fighting weapon.
on the more peaceful hand, a Trobitt! Troll + hobbitt = Trobitts! A small, fat troll that's duller than a sack of rocks that both fears and loves the sun! That very characteristic drives them crazy! Lame you say? well I thought it was funny...

Not a crossbreed, (or bread) but:
Faramir and Boromir's younger brother, Baromir. He's thinking "Must keep ring... must let hobbit keep ring... must take ring! No!" Eventually becomes schitzophrenic.

Ooh, Boromir/Faramir has been done though! (ha ha. Lame joke.) I like Trobbits! Were there maiar conected to water? If there were, cross"bread" them with Balrogs!!! (Sorry I'm ragging on the "bread" thing. It amuses me! I like buns!)

Me and my friend were making A LotR board game, and one of the characters was Frosam... I'd like to see Tom Bombadil mixed with Smaug. Old Tom Smaugadil was a fearsome drake, Dwelling in a mountain by the long lake, Bright blue his scales were, and his flame was yellow, Old Tom Smaugadil could really bellow, His voice would ring across the land like a bell, People would flock to hear, yet he was fell, As soon as they came near, he would burn them, Cook them, eat them, you'd think that would learn them, Even though they knew that they were a tasty snack, The foolhardy survivors would always come back, Until Old Tom Smaugadil had eaten everyone Boiled, Barbequed, or stuffed in a bun, And Old Tom Smaugadil ventured west, For he'd heard that the food there was best, Singing as he flew along, he came to Mirkwood In his desperate search for food, But the elves, they were learned, they could tell That He was dangerous and fell, And they would heed him not, And he was mad His singing was of no avail, and he was sad, Slinking back to home, away from elven bows, Tom Smaugadil went hungry, and had death throws, And some who returned to Dale gave him pity Even though they knew he was evil, fell, witty, And they gave their lives, as long as he would sing And in Erebor he dwells still, singing and eating. Wow, that is a ptretty damn impressive piece of poetry. I didn't know this thread was even alive. Hm a crossbread. Oops, I mean crossbreed. Just for lod times sake
One of those flying things that the Nazgul use and an ent. It would be so cool, a flying ent with a hideous head and monstrous teeth flying at high speed trough the air while exclaiming in a foul voice: Let's not be hastyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! Oh, dear, Helka, I might have known this would be something from your very odd mind...
How about combining Feanor with Morgoth? Stealing the Silmarilli from himself, trying to revenge them upon himself, etc. The poor fellow would be veeery confused. |

Feanor and Morgoth are already so similar in personality I don't think that a cross bred would make much of a difference. Hmmm.. I know one is not Middle-Earth but it is still funny. How about Haldir crossed with the french guy in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. "You silly mortal kiniggets! I blow my nose at you then shoot you in the dark! Phhhhtttt!!!'

Gandalf and Bill the pony. A tall, grey/white haired pony with a beard, a staff, and a pointed hat with ear holes cut out of it, courtesy of Legolas.

Faramir and Denethor.
On the fire... off the fire! On the fire... off the fire! On the fire... off the fire! Yavanna and Melkor. Build a tree, destroy the tree. Build a tree, destroy the tree. Build a tree, destroy the tree... Middle Earth will be one confused land.

I agree with Meela, crossing characters who oppose each other would be a disaster. What would be handy rather than funny would be if Sauron and Morgoth were one. Then they'd just both be thrust into the void, and there'd be no war of the ring. The Barrow Wight with Bombur would be strange... He'd be too fat for his own barrow! (or should that be, two fat?) |

Actually, the crossing opposing characters wouldn't be a disaster. They'd be so busy fighting themselves that they wouldn't be able to bother anyone else.
Imagine: Feanor is so busy trying to get revenge on his Morgoth half that the Kinslaying never happened. Another cross'bread' that I think might be funny: Tulkas and Morgoth. That could get interesting... |

How about...... Old Man Willow and Pippin!
That would be funny! Trap myself, call for help, trap myself (purposely), and call for help. Attention seeker I think! Or...... how about Treebeard and a baguette, AND a spider! We could call it Breadlegs after the infamous character in Camilla Sandman's OFUM! Or........ Aragorn and Elrond! That would just be VERY weird and freakified! Elgorn would just say No Yes No Yes No Yes all the time because both sides would be arguing over whether Aragorn got to marry Arwen or not. Its 3:30am now, so I'm gonna go. I'm tired! Ja ne! Namárie! From Elróthiel, the Insane and Tired Elven Goddess of Hilariosity and laughter!

wow, I haven't been on for a while so I'm probably a bit rusty now.. I loved the poem guy who be short.. I would have fallen off my chair, if I weren't sitting on the floor.. (don't ask) ok, ok anyway...
what about Gandalf and Pippin? it could be Pipdalf (who just happens to be one of the voices who lives upstairs, I have a lot of cross "breads" upstairs!) imagine: "I will help you bear this burden, as long as it is yours to bear... so, where are we going?" heh, I'm sure you all could think of some more where that came from!

Actually, crossbreads could be interesting. I have a mental image of a baguette with Pippin's face, and Gandalf using it as a staff. Pipuette!
Back to crossbreeds A Nazgul with an Oliphaunt. Grey as a mouse, Big as a house, Nose that can sniff The smallest whiff, As I stamp through the grass Hobbits hide as I pass, With flapping big ears I can hear all your fears "What will he do? What does he want? What's with the Naziphaunt?" But I'll leave you be If you bring Baggins to me! how about Sam and Gollum? there's an interesting thought "Po-ta-toes! Keep nasty chips, man we need some herbs, spoil nice meat, she could do it, master's our friend, throttle us in our sleep I will!" ok, the air down here in mordor is really messing up my brain, so I'll just shut up now... yeah...

Well, Ka, there actually is a member of the Downs called The Daughter of Shelob and Gollum. Rather scary person too.
Maybe we could combine Saruman with Sauron. Save time in defeating them. Or how about combining a random orc with Galadriel or Celeborn. No, no! Elrond with Ugluk! Oh, and welcome to the Downs! Enjoy your d.eath. [ August 07, 2003: Message edited by: Tinuviel of Denton ] |
