I think I'm still in shock slightly, and possibly denial. Firefoot changed her avvie! The new one is just as great but . . . but!

Thanks ladies! I thought I would change it for awhile. I feel dizzy with all the rolling! I noticed Nogrod changed his as well, I'm not sure who it is yet.

Every time Valier changes her avvie, I have to get used to NOT welcoming this new person into the forums.... That dancing Kitten has become so associated with the idea of "Valier" that I fully expect her to BE a dancing kitten.
Although the Panda is still cool.... and he pulls a Legolas!! I'm not sure if it's phisically possible to move like the panda does... just like our movie-elven friend!!!

Mine is a picture of young Dimitri Sostakovits (Schostakovich). One of my favourite composers - listen to his piano or cello concertoes f.ex. Just awesome! But surely, it's funny how those Avvies stick in to the persons. I just can't imagine Firefoot or Valier this new way... until some time goes on. As it was hard to think about Lommy without the penquins.

I've always liked Formendacil's avatar, but now he's added Minas Taxi to it! I've got to figure out how to do something like that with my own.
Edit - Ha! And I did. Thank Eru for Paint. Last edited by Alcarillo; 04-12-2006 at 10:30 PM. |

Very nice, Hookbill! In my signature there's a link to a page of Mount Zoom avatars I made, but I think the link's broken or it goes to the wrong page.
Edit - I got it to work! It was a matter of changing my album to public. Last edited by Alcarillo; 04-13-2006 at 12:03 PM. |

Thinlomien's new penguins are rather sweet. It was a lovely picture she had for a while but somehow it seems right that Lommy has a penguin avatar.

Mr. Dread Horseman, that avatar is perfect for you. And may I suggest "Go ahead, make my day" as a possible signature choice?
I like JennyHallu's new (relatively new) avatar. I liked the other one too but this one I like better!

Why thank you! I am determined that the image people get stuck with of me is improbably beautiful. Plus LMP thought the last one (the spring sprite from Fantasia 2000) was a hippo (?).
I've already got another made up when I get bored of this one.

Well, I see Fea has gotten herself a new avatar. And I just have one thing to say:
Feanor, is that a picture of you? Or is it a picture of... well, not you? I can't see enough of it to decide if it fits my mental picture of you. Of course, my mental image has probably been boosted a little by the phantom's continual praise of your beauty.

It's me.
I've developed an inclination for everyone to feel as though I'm watching them, taking in every word they say. What better way than to incorporate an image of me doing just that in a slightly creepy manner?

I'll never be able to find your posts now. How can I disagree with you if I can't find your posts? Seriously though, your new one is quite lovely. Phantom isn't going over board in his praise.

Estelyn and I are both intrigued by Kuruharan's new avatar . Might it be a P. G. Wodehouse cartoon? It's a bit like the David Hitch ones for Plummy's books. It also reminds me of cartoons in the sixties in a 60's gentlemen's how to book.
And may I say here also how much I like the detail and light in Estelyn's recently appointed avatar. And might I also observe that likely only our Moddess knows how easy (or not) it is to be green.

This particular avatar is taken from The New Batman Adventures when the Penguin finally recovered from that toxic river he'd been living in since that appalling Danny DeVito catastrophe and went back to a more classic look and portrayal (i.e. he stopped being a mutant). |

I actually didn't like The New Batman Adventures very much. I didn't care for the whole grown up Robin coming back as Nightwing thing and it kind of gets to the point where there are so many heroes in the story that it becomes hard to believe that any of the super-criminals could possibly stay in business. However, I did like the way they portrayed the Penguin in that show in removing the physically mutated elements and turning him into more of a sophisticated, yet shady, entrepreneur with his nightclub. Well, maybe "restoring" the sophisticated personality might be a better word, although the nightclub was new. Anyway, I must stop now because I could go on and on (in case you couldn't tell ) Last edited by Kuruharan; 06-04-2006 at 01:25 PM. |

Thanks. If anyone doesn't know what Estel means by rocks, then you've never played with Kirby in Super Smash Bros. Although he's not my personal favorite to fight with(Young Link), or even the one I'm best with (Pikachu), he's probably the most fun to use. Although, it took me awhile to get it to 'avatar form'. The actual background for the picture I used was white, and, since I lack a good photo editing program, I had to use Paint to change the background.

Kirby =
But Yoshi is cool too. (Controversial question, how is Yoshi pronounced? I believe it to be 'Yosh-e' but some will say 'Yo-she'. When listening to Yoshi's voice it sounds like 'yosh-ee' but on Super Smash Brothers the announcer pronounces it 'yo-she' Is Nintendo giving mixed messages or what? ) Back on topic... I noticed Valier has reverted back to ye olde dancing cat! It’s a classic!
