To elaborate further, it's generally a multi-story store with coffee-shops and such inside. You can generally find nearly any book you want in there, and they have very comfortable chairs to sit and read it after you buy it. It just has a very nice atmosphere.

Or to read it before you buy it
Or to just sit and take a nap (not that I have ever done that) It is a very cool store, and to add on to beren's comment, it also has some of the longest hours of any store in my town (the one here is open every day from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. at night, which in a place where the average store is open to 6 or 7 that is kind of shocking)

We have a huge bookstore like that, Waterstones. Books AND coffee? In one place? Heaven.

Coffee-shop? Where? Where? Ohw as in coffee. I get it now. Don't fear, I didn't knew the thing either. We don't have a big bookstore here. Only V&D. But that store is not the best too. None of the stores here even have UT HomE or Sil. Well, in my city anyway.
