Why did the Valar not do a repeat?
I noticed a funny thing in the Lord of the Rings; the Valar really crushed Morgoth in the War of the Jewels, why did they not come back and do the same to Sauron?
If this topic is already covered, I will be happy to let a moderator close it as soon as possible, but if not, I would like to hear your side of things, guys.

They were getting rather sick of cleaning up Middle-earth's messes, especially after that whole Ar-Pharazon business...
