My best friend Katelyn liked the movie and got me to watch it last summer. Of course I loved it and read the books, and know Im a huge Tolkien fans so thanks Katelyn. I tried to get my other best friend Amy to read it but she couldnt get thought the prologue. She also thought the movies were realy long. O well. Well, my first convert was my cousin Haelothiel, as she already stated in her post. I convinced my brother to read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, but he doesn't have the intense love of it as Haelothiel and I do. I tried to convert my friends, but they have no appreciation of fantastic litarary works. Alas! They have been brainwashed by... Spongebob! I hope its not too late to save their minds before they turn to sponges. I have also gotten other people from my school to read it, and to my surprise I have actually had intelligent conversations about LOTR with some boys who had read it that I would not have normally thought they would have the mental capacity to comprehend the complex plot. I guess that's a good thing though. We must continue to convert!

I converted my best friend and I'm really close to converting my other friend. But all other people at my school think LOTR is "uncool" pah! They have no idea what they are missing out on!
