I miss the old Nintendo, Zela was the only thing I could play some what decently. Plus, Link made such wonderful action noises when you cut down the tall grass... "Shooosh! Swwwwipe!" Ah, it was fun. I have to say that the tone of Meela's new avatar is quiet wonderful, everything seems to flow into place and out again. Either that or you're hair is wonderful. Mine if I ask what shampoo you use? ~ Aesthete

Just noticed Malkatoj's - Hip hip, ZOOMBINIIIIIIIIII!
I still like to play that game. *cough* It brings back fond memories of getting hundreds of Zoombinis to Campfire Rock and etc., and the computer crashing. Repeatedly. Okay. So maybe the memories aren't so fond. Maybe I'm just thinking about how the propellor-bottomed pigtailed green-nosed alert-eyes never get past the first Sneezing Cliff. I just saw gralin musicteeth's as well - a bowl of green jello. How perfect. Green. It matches the forum!

For Malkatoj I'll thank you Oddwen. I recently found my (ancient) copy of the game and made the mistake of telling my friends, now we're all in the middle of a huge Zoombini craze...if you want a zoombini avatar yourself just let me know, they're really quick to make.

Aren't they fun? Yes, thank you Shelob for making the avvie for me. My copy of the game won't work because I don't have the right Quicktime, and when I try to download and install Quicktime (2.1) it gets mad at me...

What's this... two nominations in one post?
1. After recovering from the initial shock caused by Hookbill changing his avatar, I must say that I like the new Mt. Zoom one very much.
2. Lommy's avatar is just wonderful. It's kind of hypnotising - makes me want to stare at it every time I come across her posts.

I am quite a fan of gralin's bowl of green jello and malkatoj's Zoombini. Oh, how I love that game! It makes it much easier if you make all of the Zoombinis sets of identical twins

I wonder if anyone can guess which video-game my little friend is from...
Just a note if we do have any gamers other than myself and CoD here, its from the awesomest RPG ever.

Well, it can't be either of those, since neither promotes the large 'anime-hair' of your avatar. Hmm...I'd say Final Fantasy Insert Whatever Number Floats Your Boat Here, since I tend to shy away from all the other 'anime-styled' RPGs. |

I agree, Glirdan. I've only ever played through II, which was pretty fun. I'd guess either 8 or 10, just because I've heard those were the two best in the series.
By the way, Shelob and malk's avatars of Zoombinis are amazing! I loved that game... "Fleens? You're not Fleens! Please, whatever you are, make me a pizza!" Good times. It's interesting how many avatars featuring video games are popping up. Gil, malk, Shelob, Sleepy, Morsul (I think), and CoD. I might have to find and break out a Link picture for mine (not just to copy Gil, of course ).

Well its not Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy is definately *not* the best. CoD, think Sega Genisis. SF! Guess it now, it had two games and a re-make is coming out this summer.

Have you noticed how your image of a 'downer changes with his/her avvie?
Take Sleepy for example. (I hope you don't mind, Sleepy.) When he had the Obi-wan avvie I thought he was charismatic and sympathic. When he had the ?-avvie (which he had next) I thought he was a bit arrogant and unpredictable. When he had the actor (whoever it was) avvie, I thought he was difficultly approachable and a bit absent. With the recent avvie, it makes me think about him as a relaxed, easy-going, nice and thoughtful, but a bit teeny. Really, that's strange. But I think I now wityh all this experience begin to see the guy behind many avvies...

Anyway, the game my avatar is from is Shining Force 2. Hes the main character.

Back on topic... I think the only avvie that's helping me cope with the loss of Valier's dancing kitten is Thinlómien's... thing. I have seen that before yet I can't figure out where. Still, pretty fun, it makes me think of a pack of werewolves... and for some reason (WW anyone?) that's a good thing.

Nice that you like my avvie.
It's from avatarity.com - aren't most of the 'downers avvies from there? I don't think it's very comforting to hear that your avvie reminds people of ww's - especially if you're playing in a ww game. ("Luckily" I was killed on Night 2...)

Lush's is very pretty. I am quite jealous of it.
And Farael's brings back memories. Oh so many times I died with that Mario.

I like Thinny's new avvie - little hopping demons. It reminds me slightly of Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are".

You took the words right out of my mouth Eonwe. Kitanna will always be that cute little puppy, Eomer will always be Snoopy and Folwren will always be that falcon. And I cannot forget Enca and her pirate!! Those five will always be linked to those avvies in my mind.
