Here is the best guess, according to Elvish.org/gwaith. "Þæt he ma nowere is, þurh niedig rest. And mægen deorost Bealo..."

That's VERY similar to the Old English used in Beowulf.... I'm just a book loving Hobbit, yep. I love reading those old sagas. Did you know that Tolkien wrote an essay on Beowulf?

I was gonna say that about Beowulf too. Eowyn has a good voice, but the song totally caught me off guard in the movie... welcome, elvesrhot ( ) by the way!

Silmaril

Me during my first screening of TLotRTTTEEDVD (such a fun abbrieviation ):
**"Where is Theodred? Where is my son?"**
*tears up from emotions running high and knowing that the most heart wrenching line ("no parent should have to bury their child") is coming up*
**shows funeral**
*tears reduced to sniffles. "Oh my god! Keeper of Dol Goldur (name edited by the way)! The funeral!!!" "Fea! Shut up!"*
**shows insertion of body into hillock**
*tears up again... so emotional*
**singing begins from nowhere**
*"What the--? Where the @#$% did that come from?" (then the realization that she's pretty good hit)*
I was so busy sniffling about the loss of Theodred and the tear-jerking scene that I was completely shocked by the singing. That was probably the one extension that I had no idea about. She's a rather better singer than I am, but that's really not saying much as singing is one thing that I'm just plain BAD at.
Fea
