Question the power of the one ring

what do you think about the power of the one ring? we know that Sauron put much of his own power into it. so it is sauron own power. the only thing that said one ring bring the other rings and bind them in the darkness. do you think that is the only own power of the ring? isn't there any power of the ring without sauron power put into it? in the peter jackson film we were shown that sauron is very powerfull with the ring . i think that it is not power of the ring,it is sauron own power. sorry about my english . so , what is your ideas?
