I think the worst couple was Aldarion and Erendis too. He was always off and she was always cranky. Their daughter didn't turn out very good either.

The only other one I can think of is the last Numenor King and Queen. Pharazon took Miriel (did I spell it right? it's been a while) against her will and took power from her and named himself King. The King gets to spend eternity under a mountain and the Queen drowned in the fall.
Eol and Aredhel don't make a very good couple either. I think the worst couple was Aldarion and Erendis too. He was always off and she was always cranky. Their daughter didn't turn out very good either. Agreed!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Gimli and Legolas yet. I don't know who those two thought they were fooling with all that macho posturing and tallying kills. Please. Get a room.
