I have always enjoyed Tigerlily Gamgee (And her Avatar goes perfect with it too)
The Barrow Wight-drives fear into the heart of the average forum goer.
And I have always liked Doug*Platypus (I think I spelled it right, but I have just always like it)

Well, I am new to the forum, and don't know many names, but Piosenniel is a good one. By the way, I chose "Hirilaelin" (lady of the lake) because I am a swimmer, and because I like the way it sounds when you say it!

P.S. RATE ME PLEASE!

I think my top names out of the whole of the Downs are Birdland, Lush, and Marileangorifurnimalium. There's a whole bunch of others that I like, too, like Squatter of Amon Rudh, or burrahobbit, or propagandalf and, of course, The Saucepan Man.

I f to be honest I can not tell my top 3 because I haven't even seen all of the names but still I can name some of my favorites :
Tripo the Hippo , Meela (maybe because it means "love" in my native language) and many many more
And now somebody could gather the votes and find out the favorite name

Seems that Lush is in quite a few peoples lists, but here are mine:
#1- The Saucepan Man
#2- Purple Fluffy Chainsaw
#3- Burrahobbit
#4- Lush
& I'd better stop at 4, since I should've stopped at 3.

I've decided to chip in my 2 cents, so here goes!

1) Dancing Spawn of Ungoliant (is there someone called that around here? Because it sounds so cool...)
2) The Squatter of Amon Rhun (spelt right? again, an excellent name).
3) Meela (you may hate it, but I think it sounds great).
