You wouldn't be referring to the relative paucity of interested responses in the Midwest forum, would you?
No, more like the paucity of interesting responses in the the Midwest, period.

I used to believe that some of my family had only two topics of conversations: the weather and food.

That sounds like my family during x-mas. Thank god we now hardly have any visitors. It's really tough to frie a meatball while someone is talking about how nice the tangerines are. Very frustrating.

Just be glad that they talk about something other than politics and foreign relations. That is the only thing my father will talk about anymore...and he is rallying for the U.S. to go to war with Iraq soon, it seems...

Back to the topic for the clock: Helka: no, the clock merely states the time. I want to know when last the threads were posted on. There is nothing to tell you that, I do not think...

EDIT: Okay, I am blind: they do have what time the last post was. Never mind!

Guys, I can't resist teasing you here, but which do we think is worse? Talking about the weather or talking about the time?
I think talking about the weather never tires out. It's always different. Have you seen the weather today. It's sunny right now. Nice sun. Good sun. Yellow sun. I like the sun. Sun is good. Sun gives light and warmth. Nice sun.

Oh wait we are discussing BW clock. Ehm, good job! keep up the good work.

Greetings,

Anuion

Nasssssty yellow face, Burns us.

But seriously where has the clock gone now? I't used to be really interesting looking at it and trying to work out time differences (I always failed even though I am mathematically minded).

Clock where art thou?

The clock clucked.
Simply blocked.
Just my luck.
There's no clock.
I'll give a buck.
But still no luck.
I cannot find the freaking clock.

that was quite good actually, Nel!
Is there an actual clock thing anywhere? I thought it was just the thing saying what time everyone posted. Which doesn't make any sense to me because I don't know how many hours I am ahead of East Coast!

You see a clock in your screen? Mine doesn't display squat, not even the "It is currently __________ on the Barrow-Downs."

There hasn't been a clock on the Downs for more than six months, so there really is no more discussion here.
